'PAMELA', 'DON ROMANTICO', 'TOTOY BIBBO' - all by Vhong Navarro; 'WE BELONG' and 'CATCH ME I'M FALLING' - by Toni Gonzaga… Chances are you didn’t know that these hit songs were written by Christian Martinez: All this time you thought the novelty hit songs Pamela, Don Romatico and Totoy Bibbo were all written by another songwriter noted for his mega novelty hits. Well, it's not a surprise. Christian is a soft-spoken, unassuming, 'just-one-of-the-boys' guy at Star Records. With his mild demeanor, cool sense of humor and quiet confidence, you might think he's just a 'run-of-the-mill' dude.
But Christian is not. He is more. This guy, apart from a string of hits under his sleeves, is a first-rate album producer. Just consider these statistics:
He has thus far produced 25 albums for Star Records since he joined Star Records in 1999 as In-House Compoer/Album Producer.

Christian has made a name for himself in the local music industry. A far cry from his Disc Jockey/Spinner days at Whispers Disco back in 1986.
Looks like he's in for more album productions and more original compositions at Star Records.
